    First, hello and welcome!

To the OP, agreed with all of the above! Bobby was the devil at that age too. No matter how much we played with him, he was go, go, go! Finally found out that he was just overtired so we would crate him for a forced nap before he got into psycho mode. We also realised we would need to teach him an "off switch" so we did low key activities in the late evenings.

Hello and welcome! We went through the same thing with our first puppy. He would tire himself to sleep, almost like a human child. He is two and a half now and is calmer(well, a little calmer) than before.

When Tanner used to do it, we called it "fighting sleep" too. I almost forgot about that phase! But it will pass, hang in there.
