You know what, I agree on the labradoodle. I would call vets and tell them you found a pup if anyone is looking.
Hi and welcome, thanks for saving this sweet pup!Of course you can post here, we have lab and non-lab mixes on the forum and we adore them all!

Agree with JenC - labradoodle. My first thought was maybe chesapeake. Thanks for picking him up! All dogs deserve a home
what a cute baby <3

Bless you for saving him.
I can't tell what breed he may be, but I can definitely tell he's cute!

Were you able to get him to the vet today, what did they think? I would let them know you found him like others said, and maybe also spread the word to the local shelters...if someone is missing him, that should be the first place they would call. I'd say put up "Found" signs or something, but if you say you found a labradoodle puppy, I'd worry someone would claim him just b/c even if he doesn't really belong to them. Probably best to say you found him, and let people describe him to you before claiming him.
I could be wrong, but his belly looked a bit bloated in the picture, and it is pretty typical for puppies to have worms....but the vet will cover all that.
Thank you for taking him home!

I figured he had worms from one of the photos. Yippee for the clean bill of health. Why are they removing the dew claws. I like dew claws on my agility dogs ... of course my younger girl has them removed as she was from a breeder who breeds hunting litters .... and now my make me realize I need to ask my new breeder if they remove dew claws especially since my puppy is due to be born in 10 days.
I was hoping someone would ask why you are removing the dew claws. My understanding is that is extremely painful to remove them and if a breeder does it they do it within the first day of life, right? The older the pup is the more painful? Mine has dew claws and has never had a problem.
I'm glad the puppy is healthy! Can't wait to see more pics!

Once you have had a wonderful dog, a life without one, is a life diminished.
