Welcome to you and your gorgeous girl - she looks pretty Labby to me

Guys, whilst I fully advocate and support buying a Lab from a reputable and ethical breeder, you have to remember the OP is in India where Lab breeders would not be prevalent, so choices would be pretty limited and the general population would not have access to the limited breeders nor the finances. I think we need to be mindful of where posters live if they include their country location as there can be vast differences between countries/regions for so many things.

Looks all lab! welcome to the board.

Sometimes a smaller head can be from being desexed too early.

Oh, there are reputable breeders in India too, one just has to do a little bit of research first. And someone who owns a good camera might be financially okay, just saying..

    Hi, and Welcome!

Your Snowy is lovely. Definitely looks like a Lab to me. Know what you are going through as I rescued a Lab Mix myself. Trying to figure out what she's mixed with has been fun since we got her. Unfortunately Lilly is a product of an accident litter, or maybe even someone who decided to make money selling pups. Taken from her Mom way too soon, as now at almost 7 months is still suckling for comfort. It's a shame, here in the USA, some think selling pups will bring them revenue, when a good breeder doesn't look at dollar signs, but breeds for the love of the breed.

Snowy is now with you. Just like Lilly is with me. Don't worry about what she really is, just love on her. Enjoy her. Can't wait to hear more about your Snowy and her cohort. Don't worry about what the group at Yahoo has to say, you found a great community of Lab lovers here. Actually if you really look you can find lots of different breeds and mixes who are buddies to Labs and deal with their goofy, fun personality.

    Welcome again!

Thank you so much. It doesn't matter to me now what breed she is, I love her a lot. Actually the situation out here is a little bit different from USA, the pet shops get their puppies from breeders not puppy mills. But still I think its better to go to a breeder directly because afterall this pet shops do keep them in cages and buying from them is like supporting them, which is not morally right. Snowy is such an awesome pet, she will always sleep by my side.

Judging by the 1st picture that you posted and the motion blur from her tail wagging, I would say that she is a very happy girl. I think that always more important than if she's a purebred or a mix. Welcome to the board.
