Yes, I started reading up on the singleton puppy as soon as we heard there was only one! We were all quite shocked! The breeder has been working with him and we are lucky that he allows us to visit as much as we want! He also has 3 other dogs so plenty of activity around for him. We also found a litter of 9 yellow lab puppies close in age and they have had one play date. We were a little hesitant due to what we had read but I met with my vet and he assured me as long as the breeder spends the extra time with him he will be fine. I am sure I will be posting often on these boards....its been 12 yrs since we have had a puppy

Our Ruthie the collie was a singleton, we used to say she elbowed everyone else out of the womb! The breeder worked with her and other than typical herding issues she was fine. He is so cute!

Welcome Quincy! What a chubby little monster he is! I hope to see more pictures of this little guy! Gotta get that daily dose of puppies!
If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough.
