    Thank You Lab Forum Members

I'm new to the forum and live in Utah. Marley is our 13.5 year old chocolate lab. Mister, our white lab, would have been 12 in August. We had to have him put to sleep the first part of May due to a bladder tumor and various complications. I miss him so much. We have hiked thousands of miles together all over Utah. Labs are such awesome companions. It gets to the point that you know what one another is thinking without saying a word. Reading the forum was so helpful to me during this difficult time. Only other lab owners truly understand the "connection".

Marley was recently diagnosed with Laryngeal Paralysis and was struggling pretty bad with the warmer weather. He had tie-back surgery on Tuesday and we brought him home yesterday. He is breathing much easier and we will are taking extra good care of him as he recovers.

    Thanks you,

    Marley's Dad

Welcome!! So sorry for your loss, and hope Marley has an uneventful recovery!!!

What part of Utah? My wife is from there, and I was stationed at Hill AFB for 7 years.

Hello there Marley's dad. I am sorry for the loss of Mister. I don't know anything about LP, but I do hope your Marley recovers well after the surgery.Give him some ear scritches and tummy rubs for me.

    Hello and Welcome!

So sorry for your loss of Mister. We lost Potion to bladder cancer also at the same age.

So happy to have you and Marley join us. Love, love senior labs. In fact, that's what we do, home the seniors. Looking forward to pictures.

Welcome! I'm a former SLC native now living in So Cal. I've had a dog with LP (passed several years back, I'd check the date but the board crash makes that impossible). I now have two rescues: a seven or eight year old black Lab (Misty) and a 1 or 2 year old black Lab/GSD mix (Bogey).
