Hi Everyone! I'm from NYC and a soon to be lab owner, in my 8 week waiting period. It has been exactly 1 week, so 7 more to go!! We can't wait (actually my son and I can't wait, my husband is just jumping on the bandwagon).

Also, the breeder said she's flown out many of her pups and they all were fine...was wondering if anyone had any experiences with flying their pups? The flight is about 5.5 hrs.

I imported my two from the UK. They made the 10 hour flight with no issues, and both were 10 weeks old when then shipped out. I highly recommend United Airlines Pet Safe program. I've used them, and so has my daughter. I think at 8 weeks old the pup may still be small enough to take as a carry on in the cabin if you plan on going and picking it up.
