    Hi and Welcome—

I'd feed what the breeder suggested, if the breeder did suggest any particular brand (the they?). Ours basically directed us to keep her on PP until she was at least a year ("and then if you want to switch, you can try, but please, this works best for my dogs") and so that's what she's on. PP Focus Sport 26/16, 3 cups 2x a day, and she is looking ridiculously fit.

Personally, I'd planned to go raw (which is what we fed our cats) or with a smaller producer boutique brand. But after talking w/ the breeder about this, I decided to follow her advice. I do add some raw fruit or veg in the morning (a little chopped carrot, red bell pepper, or apple), and at night I may add a couple tablespoons of chicken boiled with rice. I also add one fish oil capsule in the morning.

But I'm going to stay w/ what the breeder suggests. I think that's the best bet (or at any rate: this works for us).
