LOL, I used to live in Alpharetta/Norcross. Went to UGA!
Anyways, I would approach training the dog as if it were 8 weeks old. She doesn't know anything and hasn't been trained. You are starting from scratch. Classes will help, but I would suggest at least trying a few group ones because the dog needs to be "dog socialized" in a safe environment.
