Oh gosh, they are so cute. My boyfriend and I went to a local Oktoberfest this past weekend and we saw a yellow lab puppy that looked like a smaller version of Teller (I am sad I didn't get him earlier to see how cute he would have been). I know now that my next puppy is going to be a lab. After owning Teller for such a short period of time and being exposed to that sunny lab personality, I have totally become a lab person. I've already picked out a name for the new baby I will welcome home in the next few years, I am already researching breeders. I'm sure Teller would love to have a little bro eventually.

Hello and welcome! I'm a little late in posting, but those pups are adorable! Very exciting. We are still going through the puppy stage with our little Finnegan (black lab-just turned 1) and he is quite a handful! Much more than his older brother, Sailor (yellow lab-2). The 31st will be here before you know it... Looking forward to more photos!

Wow, that's an overdose of cuteness!

And, yes I am glad I have fallen in love with labs too! I've been around various dog breeds all of my life and once I hit my early twenties, a bunch of negative experiences with poorly trained dogs, I became less of a dog person. I always planned to get myself a large dog once I had graduated and moved into my own apartment because I am petite and wanted both a guardian and companion, but I never thought I would get one so soon. I had never even considered a lab either, I wanted a Komondor (part of the reason I delayed that was because of the rarity and price of the puppies). But after interacting with my friend's father's hunting lab, researching the breed more, and finding Teller, I literally cannot imagine that I would be happy with any other breed. I never realized how much I enjoy having such a friendly, interactive dog. I love my Shih Tzu and I can tell she loves me too, but she is never really affectionate or friendly. We joke that she has more of a cat's personality than some of my cats. Teller is the opposite, he's loves everyone and everything. I've even had another lab owner, who has a beautiful chocolate girl, comment on how she wishes her dog was as friendly and outgoing as Teller. For me, labs seem like the perfect balance of work and play, wrapped in a big, friendly package.

I know you will enjoy your new puppy because labs are awesome!
