    New from Orlando

Hi, my name is Michael and I am from Orlando Florida. I own a 9 week old Labrador Retriever Hound mix named Charlie.
I can take all the puppy tips I can get from crate training to teething... He has a crate but he doesn't use it yet.

    Hello and Welcome!

Not the best at puppy information as I home senior labs. One thing I've learned here, start crate training now. While you may not have to do it a lot at home in times to come, you want your puppy comfortable with it in case crating is necessary, i.e. at the vet.

    Looking forward to pictures.

Hi and welcome! Another vote for puppy classes ASAP, one of the best things I ever did.

There are lots of threads with helpful puppy and crate training tips. Definitely start on crate training right away. Make it a happy place, feed in the crate, toss high value treats or a favorite toy inside randomly. You can also google "crate training games" for some good ideas.
