    Greetings from Sportsman's Paradise

Coming to you from NW Louisiana, my wife and I are the proud owners of two rescue labs, a yellow named Chief (4) and chocolate named Duke (3 1/2). She had them a few months before meeting me and the dogs were out of control. With a little professional training and some added structure at home, they are growing into fine dogs. Unfortunately, they are gun shy and too old for training (so I'm told).

Welcome!!! I would have to disagree that they are to old to train. My Sophie is 4 1/2 and I've been working to train her to compete in Rally and Obedience. I only started hard core training her for this back in December, you'd be amazed at the progress she's made.

Welcome to the forum. Don't put any limits on training your Labs. Let them be Labs and everything will work out... Looking forward to pics!

Welcome! And yes, let them be Labs. They will likely enjoy any training you give them.
