    New from New York and just got my first Labrador Retriever puppy!

    Hello,
    My name is Michelle and 2 weeks ago I purchased a black lab named Lily who is now 15 weeks old. She has just started training to be my psychiatric service dog. She's very small for her size, which had me concerned at first, but despite that she is doing amazing with her training! She learns commands very quickly and is so eager to please me. She makes me so happy. ❤️
    I have one other dog at home who is a 10 year old mix breed named Charlie. He's part German Shepard, part Boxer, and I don't know what else. We rescued him from an animal shelter. He and Lily get along surprisingly well! Lily is my first Labrador Retriever and my first purebred dog. I'm so excited to have her!

    I noticed Lily's little vest in your other thread but it's easier to see here. My gosh, she's about the size of Charlie's head. Does she have a loonnngggg nickname as some of mine do, like Little Lily-Lou-Lou?

    Awww look at that little face! I think they are going to be great friends by the look of the picture of the two

    The vet I take my pup to raises service dogs and right now they have a tiny black lab same age as my Brian. He is tiny!! She told me the ones they send her to raise have always been on the small size.

    Size don't matter anyway, it's the love we get from them
