When you lose a companion animal...Support Services

On Saturday, through the Delta Program, I saw a wonderful speaker on the Human/Animal Bond Trust, and dealing with grief.

She spoke of how to help your animals deal with grief, preparing, if possible. Why we (humans) suffer so much, and why we’re not allowed to grieve in our society. Steps in helping with the grieving process, etc.

Here are some numbers you can call at anytime if you or someone you know needs help dealing with the recent death of their companion animal, whether it is a dog, cat, or any animal.

Thank you for sharing this wonderful information...we all can use help with with grieving the loss of our pets, especially children. My favorite companion, Bradley, died 18 years ago and I still think of him and miss him always....
