New title and a great weekend!

This forum has been so quiet recently... what is everyone up to and working on with their dogs?

Bert had a lame summer with a toe injury/infection and eventual amputation. We only got to play in the field for a few weeks and he was otherwise laid up.

BUT, we've rehabbed like crazy and he's back in the obedience ring! All I can say is that I don't deserve such an amazing teammate.

Last weekend, Bert and I competed in Utility B and Open B. He came away with 6 first places, 3 High in Trials and 3 High Combined. This completed his UDX2 and OM3!!!!
He is such a talented guy, team player and tries his heart out.

I can't wait to see where 2020 takes us

Wow, great performance! I haven't seen photos of Bert for quite some time. Talented AND handsome! How old is he now?

Congratulations (again)! You must be closing in on that OTCH soon!

My yellows both have their CDX's and are prepping for Utility - hoping to bring them out in April/May. They know all the exercises but aren't performing at the level I want them to yet. Cookie in particular has me a bit frustrated because she makes too much noise on her go-outs. She was flat-out barking which we've managed to stop but she still whines and moans a bit. It's mostly from excitement but I'm not sure she even realizes she's doing it, which makes it challenging to stop.

Been showing them in Open for ring experience - Sass went High in Trial a few weeks ago, which means that as some point during the year all 3 of mine have each gone High in Trial at a show :-)

Oh, and Chloe's been showing in Rally. She has earned her RN and now RA and will be going for her RE in a couple weeks. She's qualified for Nationals in Advanced, so assuming she is still up to it (she'll be 11 by then) we will show in Ohio in June.

Congrats! I haven't been doing much with the labs. The boys are too old and Tickle doesn't want to work. So I've been doing things with the Griff. We had a busy year. She earned her NAVHDA Natural Ability title with a Prize 1 of 112 points (perfect score). She's gotten her CGC, Junior Hunter, and Rally Novice titles as well...not to mention 2 conformation points. Then in UKC, she's got her Rally 1 and Rally 2 titles plus all her conformation points, we just need 1 more major for her Champion title.

Next year I am hoping to get Rally Advanced and Rally Excellent done. Rally 3 in UKC. We'll try for whatever conformation wins we can get. I also want to work on her Junior Hunter Advanced (she has 1 leg of 5 already done), her BN and CD...and maybe get her trained for her Senior Hunter.

Now with Francesca, she's poorly trained for anything but conformation, so we'll work on getting her show points and maybe see if we can get her on ducks and get that WC for her.

Thank you! Bert is 5 already - I have no idea how that happened, time flies!
And I'm biased, but I think he's quite handsome too, especially for FT lines
