Haven't been on in ages but thought I would update

Despite the pandemic I am pleased to be able to say that in limited showing, both of my younger dogs have earned their UD's. Sass is up to 5 UDX legs and one OTCH point, Cookie has 3 UDX legs and 2 OTCH points so the journey is underway with both of them.

Very happy with how they have been doing.

WTG team Annette, Sass and Cookie!!! You have well trained girls!!

We're training puppy-Loua with the basics and she's catching on quickly. We're doing a few advanced exercises because she gets bored with the basics. No shows here yet, or puppy classes, but we hope to get her CGC title first once we can go to a show, and then go from there.

Congrats Cookie and Sassy and Annette. Do you show virtually? Or for real with lots of spacing? I guess the concern is not the performance but where you kennel the dogs and hang out before and after.

No virtual trials at our level. When the weather was nicer they had a few outdoor trials where it was easy to social distance. Lately there have been a few indoor trials where only limited people (judge, stewards, the person in the ring and the next exhibitor) are allowed in the building so we all show from our cars ... and depending on the show and the weather shiver in the parking lot for hours!

I'm glad some things have been able to be held, if not the most convenient way. I can't believe Sassy and Cookie are already 5 years old, They're younger in my imagination. Of course, so am I. Happy you checked in!

It is not the least reason why we should honor as well as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born. What would the world be like without music or rivers or the green and tender grass? What would this world be like without dogs?”

I am in the process of researching breeders for getting a puppy. I have been following a few forums for a bit and am amazed at how determined the Lab community is to hold their events.

I’m also encouraged by the beautiful pics of the dogs! There are some beautiful Labs out there! Thanks for sharing!
