I just typed in a long reply in Welcome Wagon, hit submit, received the screen that says I need at least three words, and then, naturally, when I hit "back", my typed paragraphs had disappeared.
It's as if the word counter wasn't working.
ETA: but it worked for this one. Go figure.

It's a known bug that I can't fix. It's in the code between forum software and the browser. It happened to me this weekend as well.
When it happens I highlight my message and copy it and they paste it back into a new reply.
I think that clicking the AA with the red x in the top left of the toolbar will sometimes work. It brings up the code of the message.
I just have to train myself to copy before hitting send in case I need to paste.
At least it's not just me....😜

For me it only happens when I use my iPad and iPhone my Android has never had this issue.
Edit: this is the first time I was able to get through on my iPad.
