Just wanted to add to this, Dr. Wanda and I had another discussion on raw/homemade vs kibble and she said that in her holistic vet practice, she sees over and over again that raw/homemade fed dogs and cats live on average 2 years longer than kibble fed pets.

An update on Loua;, she's now about 1/2 raw/homemade, 1/2 kibble fed. We have to keep her on kibble, just in case. When she's at the right age and a "no show", we'll switch her to an all raw/homemade diet.
