Looking good Sam!
It's a balancing act with Mardi. I keep my eye on her and adjust good accordingly.
I took Sam in to be weighed yesterday. He was 94.9 pounds! I was very happy. He started out weighing 99.6 pounds on April 12. I think he looks really good now but we're going to to to get him down a couple more pounds. At that point, I have no idea how to go from weight loss mode to maintenance so that should be interesting.

So you haven't cut his food back anymore right? Isn't this around 2 pounds less than the last time? Looking good!
Way to go Sam! I would need to write everything down daily (food intake, activity, etc.) and observe my dog, see what best combination keeps him fit. To find a true maintenance plan. I already got a binder for the pup. lol

No, we didn't cut his food back any more, and yes he lost about 2 pounds! We're not sure why he gained a couple weeks ago. Maybe it was the vet's scale. They have the scale located along the wall and I think that is messing things up. The first time we had him sit on it yesterday, it said 91.1 pounds. I was like no way did he lose 5 pounds in 2 weeks and then I realized Sam's butt was against the wall. We zeroed the scale and weighed him twice more and he was 94.9 and 94.7 pounds so hopefully we got an accurate weight. I really do think he looks good.

He is looking good. Candy is going through the same thing right now. She needs to lose about 3-5lbs more.
Good job!
it sounds like whatever you're doing is working well. Sam is in great shape.
Great job! Patches has lost four pounds in the last fourish months. She feels great and looks much better. I am trying to find the maintenance amount for her now.
