    Hi all!

How's everybody doing lately? I don't come on the board often, but try to keep up on the latest.

Ursa is doing okay, struggling with her seasonal allergies. Poor girl, the older she gets, the tougher it is for her. We have a vet appt for early next week. We went camping and while Ursa was laying on the carpet outside the trailer sleeping, a bunch of red ants chewed on her inner right ear flap leaving at least 10 bumps which turned into small blisters. Our home treatments are working, but still want to vet to look at it.

Loua is doing great. Like Ursa, she loves to go camping and going on our many walks. Loua is our bear patroller and is allowed to bark ONLY when she sees a bear. We didn't see any this time, but saw several deer. On one of our walks near dusk and coming around a corner and through the trees, a fellow camper thought that 'black' Loua was a black bear and screamed "a bear, a bear", then those around laughed and said "no, it's a dog!" We met a nice yellow Lab and many other breeds of dogs.

Anyway, that's my news, what's yours?

Poor girl, Ursa, bet that hurts.

Dealing with a strained cruciate here, thanks to a slip on a wet deck. Back right leg hyper extended back taking Eddy belly right to the deck. Holistic treatment is showing some improvement but Vet says likely looking at a two month recovery. We are using something new to me, an Assisi Loop. It uses PEMF technology, ie. Pulsed Electromagnetic Field. Sort of at home laser treatment that I can do at home on my own. Four 15 minute sessions a day the first week, now down to two a day.

Oh no poor Ursa, I hope her ear heals fast. Let us know what the vet said.

We didn't go camping yet but I plan to. I wonder if it will be bearable with the little antichrist

Nancy: Oh no, not a cruciate injury . Poor Eddy . All the best with Eddy's recovery.
Hang in there!, I remember how slow and hard it was when Opal injured each of her knees at separate times.
The Assisi Loop looks interesting and I hope it really helps Eddy!

Lena: LOL about taking Sonic camping and your description of him. Sonic may just surprise you and that you both have a ton of fun!
