Lab Puppy We Met Two Days Ago

I no longer have a Lab, having down sized back to ESS, but Labs are still one of the most wonderful breeds around. We met this little 5 month old girly on a waterfall tour. Tove was bred in Saskatchewan and her Finnish name, pronounced Too-veh, means beautiful girl. She was a very good little girl to do a Sit Stay so close to the rushing water, with my Eddy. Her Mum is at the end of the leash.

I didn't see the leash at first and I was amazed that a 5 month old would sit still long enough for that great photo. Tove does sort of have a look on her face as if to say, "What the heck? How much longer do I have to sit here?" Eddy looks super happy and is awfully cute. I find I always have a soft spot in my heart for puppies of breeds we've previously owned, as well.

Nice photo of Eddy and Tove! What a sweet face Tove has, and Eddy looks grown up and does a really good sit-stay!

No, Eddy and Tove are at Fairy Falls near Baysville. Oban is at Oxtongue River near Dorset.

I got the owner's email and am going to try to edit the leash out before I send some photos to her.

Great pic of both dogs and what a location! Tove is a beautiful pup. Eddy has a great smile.
