    Two week update!

Teddy is such a fun little puppy! It's been the easiest first two weeks with a lab puppy that I've had, so I'm just waiting for that craziness to kick in. He's got a great outgoing personality but is respectful of the bigger dogs and seems to understand their language well when pushing his puppy boundaries. He's a smart guy and is picking up on training very quickly.

The other day he got to experience his first thunderstorm so we sat outside as it rolled in and got lots of treats and positive attention every time the thunder rolled:

Speaking of the other dogs. Thor had a growth removed from his eyelid on Tuesday, so now we have the fun of managing a 10 week old puppy and a recovering senior in a cone. The surgery went great and while the mass was sent for testing, the veterinary ophthalmologist isn't too concerned about it. Awaiting the results now.

And Barley is stuck in the middle. He's slowly accepting the new creature in the house, but he's also protective of his big brother. He's learning how to share toys and space. Reluctantly. I keep telling him it's too bad dogs don't understand the concept of karma because he did the same thing to Thor, and now they are best friends.

Oh gosh, that photo of them staring up at you! The expression on Teddy's face is too adorable! And is that Thor with the treat drool in full flow?

The first picture is adorable with all 3 of them sitting! The other pics are also adorable!

Wishing Thor all the best with his eye recovery! Opal also had several growths removed from her eyes and recovered nicely. There were no cancerous growths.

Have fun with your 3 handsome boys!!

Speaking of Thor and his eyelid surgery, did he have a meibomium tumor on his eyelid? Did you get the path results yet? Henry has one that we're having removed in a couple of weeks. The vet initially suggested we wait for a month and see if it gets larger which I was OK with. I then realized we have so much stuff going on this summer that will require a few days in the kennel and some time when he could go swimming, which he loves, so we're just moving ahead with the surgery. I hope Thor is continuing to do well with that.

I just cannot stop looking at that adorable little face of Teddy in the photo of the threesome. Almost makes me want to get another puppy, almost.
