    Gauge update

Hey hope everyone is well. I can’t believe my baby boy will be 14 next month. I joined this forum when he was just 8 weeks old, when I first brought him home. It makes me so sad seeing him age. He’s now almost deaf, getting sun downers and has fecal inconstinace. He can no longer go upstairs so I’ve been sleeping downstairs on the couch for the past year bc otherwise he barks for me bc he’s always slept with me. He just went for his annual last month bw was perfect. He sleeps a lot more now but still happy wagging his tail still loves to bring me his bones when I come home from work, still gets into the trash if I don’t pay attention
We are starting him on senilife to see if that helps with his sun downers.

Selegiline helped immensely when Cookie was diagnosed with dementia. It really takes a toll when you cannot sleep at night, so it was a life changer for us.

It sucks getting old, but glad to hear Gauge is still doing well.

We went through incontinence with Cooper. It was pretty tough to get used to. It happened mostly at night so we had him set up sleeping on some old sheets over his dog bed so we could clean up quickly. Keeping you and Gauge in out thoughts here at home.
    Thanks Everyone!!
