After a long drive to the country area, we met the breeder, Reba, her mommy, her granny and the other puppies this morning!
Reba and her littermates are 7 weeks old. Puppies are going to their forever homes at 9 weeks old. So, 2 more weeks of waiting for Reba's homecoming! We're so excited!!! 4 of the puppies are flying out, 3 are staying in the area, and the breeder is keeping 1 for herself. Reba is the smallest in the litter, but has the most energy, so the breeder and 2 evaluators thought she should go to a home with Labrador experience and one where she can run and play with another Lab, and that's us. Thankfully, we have a big and safe backyard, and once she's allowed to go for walks, we'll go for many walks.
Here are 2 pics of Reba with her mommy Tears, granny Roz and 2 pups (I'm holding Reba). And of Tears with the ball and her daughter, Reba. I hope the pics work (sorry, the last 1 is sideways, I can't turn it).

Black Labbies (Today)
The puppies are 8 weeks old. Only 5 more sleeps until we go and pick up Reba!!! I can't wait to share with you her CKC registered name, but I have to wait until coming Friday when Reba is home.
We got her play and sleep stations set up today, except for the ex-pen and toys outside. Loua got excited while we were setting up and initiated some of the toys. All toys have been washed and dried and are ready for Reba and Loua to play with.

Reba is the pup on the far left, she's the red collar girl.
