Took SONG to the vet today for a weigh in. He's now 7 1/2 months and weighed 69.4 pounds! I do think he's a bit on the chunky side right now, and I've cut his food back a bit, so it will be interesting to see his 8 month weight in two weeks.

Song's 8 month weight was 72.2 pounds. He gained just under 3 pounds in the past two weeks.

Song remained at 72.2 pounds at 9 months. Looking back, Brooks had plateaued at about the same age. Song no longer looks like a puppy, but still has a ways to go for maturity. He's also being going through a bit of a teenage/fear stage for the past couple of weeks.

Ooh, that reminds me that Joey will be one year old in about 2 weeks and I'll need to get a weight on him. He's the same height as Henry but slightly slimmer and his face is more slender and puppy-ish. Sometimes it's hard to tell them apart if they're out in the yard. Joey met a box turtle out on a path the other day that immediately pulled into its shell but Joey was completely flummoxed by it. He's much more likely to bark at unexpected noises. I don't know if this represents a fear stage or if he's just going to be a barking knucklehead, I hope it fades away.

Tug is a little over a year now and is 68 pounds. I went back in my vet records to look and at 4 months he was 28 pounds. I think he will continue to bulk up a bit and land slightly over 70 as an ideal weight.

Johnnie is 17.5 months and was 80.5# at the vet last weekend. He is still so tall, long, and narrow 😂😂😂 I really don't care what size he is (seems like we've passed the possibility of him being small or medium), but I do hope he broadens through the chest a bit - he's still awfully noodly. I'm still graphing his growth over time but I'm on mobile and can't share a pic right now.

Joey weighed 82 at a vet visit last week, the same Henry weighed at his last visit. He was 38 at 4 months. The vet suggested he should weigh more like 75 lb so I've switched him to a lower calorie food at dinner time. Hopefully he won't just ramp up his stick eating habit!

Had to take Rose to the vet's today for a goopy eye, so I had Song tag along to get a 10 month and 10 day old weight. He actually dropped a little bit, weighing in at 70.5 pounds.

Johnnie is just short of 20 months old and just hit 84#. He's still lanky and narrow-chested, but not as much so as he used to be, and I think to an extent he's just a narrow lanky guy.

It'll be funny if he ends up holding steady at 84, since that's *exactly* what the rule predicted.

This is interesting to read, especially to compare European to American show lines, there seems to be a big difference.

Cookie was on the "smaller" side, his height was fine, but he was not that stocky, and very muscular. His whole life he weighed 62-66 pounds.

Sonic's father is a stocky show Lab and weighs around 88 pounds.

Sonic was the biggest pup in the litter and he weighs 12 pounds at almost 11 weeks. Let's see where he gets at the 4 month mark. I hope he will be just a little bit smaller than his dad. But I guess he will be larger than Cookie, since his paws and head are much bigger than Cookie's were at that age.

And yes, I had to use a converter for this as I am thinking in kilograms, lol.
