OMG I love Marvin. What an adorable face. I don't have any advice, but just wanted to say how lucky Marvin is that he landed in your home with you to give him the much needed help he needs. Kudos to you.

I will most certainly keep asking questions and giving updates. I'm so grateful that we found this group!
I'm hoping that his size is exactly that, or due to his rough start and that's it's not a sign of other issues. He's growing so well (and fast) that I'm thinking he'll be small for a male lab, but not THAT small.
Thank you for the kind words!

Great picture with the cat. My Danny had a cat growing up....mourned him like crazy when he was no longer with us. Wonderful relationship for both the cat and Marvin.

Good luck with the ortho...please share what you find out.

And, definitely, welcome to the board, Marvin (humans, too).
That's actually my niece that I've been babysitting because her school is closed due to the coronavirus, but she loves him like her own! He loves her as well which makes me a little sad that I don't have a little one for him yet. I thought it could be hip dysplasia at first given his swaying walk and it could certainly turn into a combination of things including hip dysplasia if his bones don't form correctly. It's so hard to tell at this age though. Hopefully the orthopedic surgeon will have an idea of what his future holds.

I also feel bad that I don't have a cat for him! That's one of my neighbor's cats who has taken a liking to Marvin. They're definitely buds!

sometimes breeders also don't give you the right paperwork, so it's possible he is alot younger than you think
