I asked this to vet but he told me there is no medication for now.
I’m also reluctant and still doing nothing about it.
She is fine, happy, even climbed the stairs running. No new attack for now and I really really hope that it was the last. I cannot cope with her absence.

Could you go to a neurologist instead of a regular vet? When Cookie started having his episodes of disorientation we went to a neurologist and he did perform some tests instead of an MRI (it was out of the question for a 15 year old dog) and diagnosed him with dementia. Cookie has been on medication for it since and he is doing well. I find it hard to believe that if the vet suspects vestibular syndrome he has no medication for it.

Sorry I couldn’t write. To my knowledge there is no pet neurologist in Turkey. There are some vets who specialized in certain areas such as cardiology but I’m not aware of any on neurology.
She is doing fine. No more episodes since the last one. I hope it was just a one time thing, maybe a stroke.
Thanks a lot for the support.
