This is my new puppy's pedigree. We chose the breeder based on a mixture of their health testing, other breeding philosophies that made me comfortable (as a horse breeder I really wanted to buy from a dog breeder I had a lot of respect for), recommendations from friends (I am friends with their vet and several of my horse clients use them for training as well). So... I was choosing a breeder more than an individual dog. Our puppy will be a pet and a ranch dog, will likely never hunt or do anything competitive.
That said, I'm still a breeder at heart and I would love to see if anyone knowledgeable about lab pedigrees has any comments about this pedigree in particular.
