Barb, upload the picture on the internet first and then put the link inside the IMG tags shown above. The pictures stored on your computer can't be shown because they are not online. The path above is the path from your computer.

I use Flickr, BUT you should be able to read some HTML and find the image link in the code...
Facebook works, however they change link addresses often and then the pictures linked on other pages won't show.
I don't have other suggestions, maybe someone else can chime in?
PS. Have you tried the option to insert an image from your computer? (first tab when you click on the image icon?)
(This was a test, it worked for me!)

I use Shutterfly, but I’m having a hard time figuring out how to post photos using it. Maybe, that will be a “this weekend” project.
Elena....I told you I was computer stupid. I have no idea what your first sentence means. (I'm making Fran proud of me here, I think.)
I'm not on Facebook.
My original failure (in my other thread) was inserting from computer. It worked for me at first...I was able to activate the link and see my pictures...but when soberbyker said he couldn't see it, I went back in and I couldn't see it either.
This attempt (dead link shown above) was trying to do a copy/paste from the computer.
I was hoping that there was maybe some free program like PhotoBucket that would work. I wouldn't be using it for anything other than here and I really don't want to spend $$$ for this limited application.
I'll post screenshots for you, how to upload directly from your computer. I can't promise it will be today though (I am at work now and then I have a programming course in the evening), most probably tomorrow if you don't figure it out by then.
You can't just copy a path from your PC. URL requires an internet address.

Hey, whenever someone laughs at someone older for not knowing how to do something on the computer, I keep reminding them that these people taught us how to use a spoon [emoji6] You have no reason to feel stupid at all, because you are not! It’s just a matter of practice.

It does not surprise me at all to hear that wonderful attitude on your part.
