Red face Back from our camping trip!

Cookie and I spent a week camping by the river, mostly solo, but had a friend visit and stay with us for three days. I was a bit worried how he'd do, because of his heart and kidney issues and a progressively weakening back end, but he was a trooper. We enjoyed swimming in the river, chilling at the beach and our campsite. I'm sharing a few pictures of the river, the camp and the surrounding area. Enjoy!

Cookie always looks so relaxed and happy on your camping trips! I see other people in your one photo- is it some sort of designated camping area or just a popular spot that people have found for camping?

Nope, it's not a designated camping area (I don't like too much fuss). It's a lovely river with a couple of beaches and people come during the day to freshen up, barbecue and chill. During the weekdays there were not people camping (I was alone, and I loved it!), but on the weekends there were a few with campers and tents.
