I can't lie it wasn't an easy couple of days getting used to the fact that Cookie will never walk on his own again. I even asked my vet about physical therapy since it helped him so much in the past, but Cookie has heart issues now as well, so it's not recommended. We are all getting used to the new normal, which you have to do often with a geriatric dog, I guess.
