Happy 11th birthday to this handsome guy. Cooper celebrated his 11th birthday on January 12th with a cookie that he shared with Dozer, some new toys, also shared, but not by choice lol, and lots of love and cuddles!!! Cooper is doing well, still thinks he is a lab puppy and only really shows his age with some weakness to his back legs by slipping on the tile and hardwood floor occasionally. We just bought an area rug for the living room so he could get up onto the couch without losing his footing. He loves the rug and he spends lots of time on it playing bitey face with Dozer.
He has a lump on the right side of his chest, which I am hoping is a lipoma, that he is seeing the Vet for on February 21st.
I haven't been on the forum much over the last year, my dad passed away suddenly last March and I have been having a hard time getting back to feeling more like myself with such a huge hole in my heart. I hope everyone is doing well!!

Happy Birthday Cooper!
Happy Birthday Cooper, you handsome fella.
I found yoga mats worked very well for slipping, were cheaper and easier to wipe clean.

Happy Birthday, Cooper!
I'm sorry about your Dad. No matter how young or old you and they are, losing a parent is really hard.
Snowshoe, yoga mats? Interesting idea. I'm trying to think where else I need some traction now for these guys.

“Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased. It is no small gift. It is not the least reason why we should honor as well as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born. What would the world be like without music or rivers or the green and tender grass? What would this world be like without dogs?”

Happy birthday Cooper. Samson will be 11 on September 1. His report would sound identical to your description of how Cooper is doing. So sorry to hear about your father.
Happy Birthday to Cooper! Macy is also 11 and we have carpeted runners all through the house now.
Happy Birthday handsome boy! May you stay happy and healthy for many many more birthdays!
