    Cliff's day out 2

So I got to spend the day with Cliff again. Whew I forgot how exhausting puppies can be. I fell asleep watching TV last night around 11, and then woke up went to bed around 2, woke up at 8 said screw it, went back to bed, then forced myself to get up at 10. I am pretty beat still.

So anyway I picked him up in the morning his mom was going to work, he seen me and was like I know you and I love you and he had his big purple duck stuffed toy he was carrying. Anyway, I put him in my truck, I still had seatbelt system for Hemi I used.
We got ready to leave, I am not sure he was confident in my driving. Look at that stink eye, where you taking me? Can I see your license?

He went to the office with me, made himself right at home. You remembered the treats big man didn't you.

He got to meet the office Roomba, it wasn't long until it was calling for Help it was stuck.

The Carpet is pretty slippery here sir.

Then he seemed a lot more confident in my driving on the way home he wanted in the front seat. I should have thought about that, I knew his mom had him in the front seat, Hemi was the same way the first time he got in the back seat. Hey this isn't right. I should be up there with you.

Anyway we got to my house and I set up the old play pen to block any electronics of. Just in case. We played and played and tugged then all of a sudden blood all over the toys. Poor guy lost a tooth. So I went and got a wash cloth wetted with cold water he could chew on and held him.

He took a short nap, very short but I got a little break.

Then he was settling down and I figured I would sit on the floor and watch TV with him. LOL he never seen this big huge box with all these people. Can they come out and pet me.

Then he is perfecting the Labrador pout. He got in trouble. Nothing serious but the big man clapped his hands said No and then rushed me outside. My fault I gave him free reign to water. He didn't know the rules. However, I anticipated this I had picked up fresh bottle of nature miracle. He had to get the playpen shortened up while I cleaned it up he watched and pouted the whole time. Why they have to be so cute?

He never seen some of the toys Hemi had, and didn't know what they were or how to work them. So I taught him.

He picked it up pretty quickly

I did get about half an hour of down time.

He listened to all my stories. He was very attentive, he also got the name game down we did last week. Still having trouble with the shake thing. We practice him sitting and me going out of site for a few seconds and returning. I played this little piggy on all the feets. I know we did some other things too it was just generally a busy day.

Unfortunately, he had to go home. I drove him back and waited for his mom to get off work.

We had a long talk and visited while Cliff tuckered out relaxed. I didn't want to let go of the leash though.
I was sad when I got home, been a while since I came home to toys all over the carpet. Boy was I beat though.

Wow, looks like you both a great day. Cliff is so cute. I'm sure he's happy to have an uncle Jeff in his life.

He is so cute and so smart! He has an interesting method for getting the treats out of the wobbler. Sonic pushes it with his nose.

He figured out nose too but took a while he never had any treat dispensing toys before he didn't know what to make of it. I got him a ball too that dumps them he rolled that around as well. I was making his brain work pretty hard.

Hemi did both nose and paws when he was younger, once he was older bigger and stronger, and smarter he either just picked it up and dropped it or several times I found him there with it unscrewed. I never knew how he managed to get it open. It was one of those things I gave him to keep him busy while I did something else.
