Where Sonic got 'excellent' and many nice words from Heather Willes-Fone (Heatherbourne Labradors, UK) - maybe you know her Barry, from your time in the UK. She's been in the breed for a long long time, it was an honour to have my dog judged by her.

Sonic is now 14 months old and is developing nicely. The only thing I really don't like about him is the sloping croup. In any case, we had a great time, 44 Labs entered, so many beautiful dogs.

He certainly looks good to me. I think he is missing some kisses and some snuggles. You can tell there is a distinct crease in the forehead and on the cheeks when the Labrador kiss quota has been satisfied, all judges know this and look for this. I mean I could be wrong about this but sure sounds good.

I thought I recognized that name, too. I have a book she edited about labs, The Ultimate Labrador Retriever. It's about 20 years old. That had to be so cool to have her judge Sonic!!

Sonic looks great!

I do remember the name, but I can't say that we ever met or were introduced, but that was almost 40 years ago and my brain isn't what is used to be!!
