Merle's really coming around. He loves his walks and he is no longer chasing cars or fighter jets. LOL We only do about 5 miles each day here in my old age but still enjoy walking in the desert.

I guess I missed this the first time around. I'm always happy to hear from you. Five miles a day is impressive! At the moment, we're nearly 2 weeks past a 9 inch snow and ice storm, the temperatures have been in the teens or twenties for 2 weeks, except for just a few days recently when it got to about 35 degrees. The dogs have to climb up onto snow banks to do their business, no way they'd go on the street. No five mile walks for us! Your photo of your walk in the desert is making me so jealous. Henry and Joey would be jealous, too, if they knew. You and Merle keep up the good work!
