Thanks! Most of the people out there yesterday were skijoring. I can’t ski because of my knee, but so far dogsledding is working for me. The skiers were really moving with their dogs though! I am sure they go faster because there isn’t the weight of the sled to pull, even though my sled is really light.

    Have fun!

    Dog sledding

Took Diggity bikejoring on my new fat bike a few days ago and we were going to stick to the wide, double track trails, but he turned down a single track trail, so I thought “what the heck” and we did it. It’s funny to me how much slower he is when we are out solo. I went back and watched the video where he is “chasing” another dog and he is running most of the time, but here, he is just trotting along. He does speed up a little at the end. Funny boy!

What a GOOD BOY. He didn't even get distracted by the sniffs. What part of the bike is the line attached to? I only biked as far as had to, to get to safe off-leash, and I just held on to the leash.

Thanks! I attach the line to the stem of the bike, right under the handlebars. The line threads through the antenna so that the line is held out in front of the front wheel and doesn’t get tangled.

The latest video of Diggity and me fat tire biking in the snow. I took this on Monday of this week up at Gunstock in NH. This is right at the beginning of our run when he is running and pulling the most. We were going down a slight hill and I had the brakes on the whole time to keep his speed in check! He usually slows down as we go on, but he is getting way better about wanting to suddenly stop to go off and sniff or mark something on the side of the trail. Still, I have to watch him like a hawk the whole time because he occasionally stops on a dime and I am not too keen on flying over the handle bars!

Oh, wow....I missed your post from 2/28 at the time. That's amazing....I actually felt like I was the one behind him (complete with shifting from side to side). Yeah...definitely jealous.
