    Dog sledding

Diggity is getting better! He loves to chase another dog, so it helps to have someone else out front.

Dog sledding is a total blast! It’s a new sport for both Diggity and me and we’re loving it!

That does look like fun. No offense, but I expected to see you flip on a couple of those turns. I think I would have....I felt myself shifting.

No offense taken! I thought I was going to take a “digger” - pun intended. But, I started to get the hang of the sled. It is not easy to turn, but I realized if I just let Diggity pull me through the turns, the sled takes a wide turn and follows him. It’s so much fun!

He’s improved so much since your last video! How tired was he afterwards?

Good boy! Snow + dogs is my favorite combination. We’re in the middle of a winter storm right now and we pulled out the skijoring harness this evening hoping that there is enough on the ground to have some fun tomorrow!

Thanks! He definitely has improved and it helped that the trails were groomed, wide, and really enticing! They just made you want to go fast! These were the beginner trails and had some rolling hills, but nothing crazy. Not sure we are ready for the intermediate or advanced trails!

He was tired, but not completely exhausted. We only did three runs for a total of about 3 miles. He didn’t pull me the whole time, especially on the first run where we ran solo. But, he was really running when he was chasing my friend’s dog. They lost us both times though and then Diggity slowed down again.
