    Rose and Brooks

Rose hasn't swam much yet, but she has no hesitation going into the pond every chance she gets. I don't discourage it as I don't want her to think going into the water is a bad thing. Once we finish force fetch water retrieves will be a priority.

These two resident geese think they own the pond, and will swim towards us as soon as they see us come near the pond. This was recorded a couple days ago, and I saw a few turtles in the pond for the first time this year. A sure sign of Spring!

For some reason I can't get the video to embed in the post, so here is the URL.

Ohh, Rose has learned whistle commands already! That's great! I've only taught the 3 tweet whistle but now maybe I'll add a sit whistle. And Brooks, we know you heard that single whistle peep!

“Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased. It is no small gift. It is not the least reason why we should honor as well as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born. What would the world be like without music or rivers or the green and tender grass? What would this world be like without dogs?”
