    Ugh, Loua has a cold...

...I'm not saying kennel cough (KC) because she's not coughing (yet), but she's certainly snorting and sneezing .

She was at the vet yesterday for her 3rd round of vaccines and got a clean health check, then we had puppy class last night, and this morning she was snorting, sniffling and sneezing. Her eyes look blah and her nose is dripping a clear discharge, and she's mopey today. I put a call in to the vet and got instructions on what to give her and to keep her quiet.

More than likely, she caught something from a puppy in puppy class last week, as it takes about 7 plus days for KC or cold virus to brew and come out.

Poor little Loua . Hopefully she doesn't spread it to Ursa!

Couldn't it just be a reaction to one of the vaccines?

    Anyway...hope she feels better soon!

Loua is feeling better this afternoon and evening, this morning she was still quite snorty and sneezy. So the remedies are working. Ursa remains healthy, fingers crossed!

I asked if it was a vaccine reaction and was told "no". Plus, she's also getting a homeopathy called Thuja to balance out the vaccines she was given.

Thanks all for your healing words, they also work!

Hi Bett! I emailed you. Ya, we're both out of touch, life is too busy sometimes to stop and email a dear friend. My bad! And now having puppy Loua, life is more busy.

Amazing that Vangie is already 12 years old, where does the time go?! How are Eli's allergies lately?

Hugs all around to you and yours!!

Oban's Vet uses Thuja too. Mind you, at his age, no more vaccinations. We are probably due for a titre.
