    We have a tooth!

Well, it's a puppy molar, but it's the first one Loua has given us! The rest she has swallowed. Poor girl, her teething is hard on her, her gums are red and swollen and she's irritated . We're giving her Arnica Montana for pain and inflammation and Hypericum for nerve ending pain, which helps quite a bit.

"It's tough being a puppy", Loua says!

I only ever found a wee kitten tooth. Are you doing the wetted then frozen wash cloth thing? Kind of scary how red they turn.

I found a couple of teeth from my little beasts. I can't remember them being out of sorts with teething. I have the teeth in a little pill bottle, they look so tiny compared to their big choppers. Sadly I don't know whose is whose.

“Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased. It is no small gift. It is not the least reason why we should honor as well as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born. What would the world be like without music or rivers or the green and tender grass? What would this world be like without dogs?”

Yes, Loua has a Sodapup, a soft chew bottle shaped toy that gets wetted and then frozen and is especially for teething puppies. and a few cotton wet/frozen knot bones.

I still have puppy teeth from previous puppies in little name labelled envelopes. Why I keep them, who really knows...

😜 (I've got some health concerns to deal with before I could consider...no stamina.)
