I have two of the round Kirkland (Costco) beds, one on each level. As for sleeping, though, she's usually on the couch or my bed (with a cover sheet).

I've had good luck with the Kong beds over the years, and the dogs always seemed to love them. Orvis makes some nice ones, but pretty spendy.

We have a ridiculous number of beds for 2 dogs. 7 beds including their crates with the little crate beds. Two Kuranda beds, a memory foam Orvis bed, an egg crate bed from LLBean, a thick memory foam bed from some other random place. They start out at night on their Orvis and LLBean beds. Lark stays on the Orvis bed, Henry usually goes out and gets in his crate about half way through the night. During the day, Lark likes to sleep in her crate, Henry sleeps on the floor, sometimes on a carpet, sometimes on the bare floor. Henry will occasionally hang out on a Kuranda bed if he's chewing on something. They're not supposed to get on the furniture, but if Lark thinks she can get away with it, she'll get onto the sofa. All this is to say that all the beds have held up well- they're all at least 5 years old, some older. I can wash the bed covers as needed. There has not been one bed they've selected as a favorite and the floor is sometimes just as appealing to them as a bed. Mostly, they want to be in whatever room I'm in, that's one reason for all the beds- bedroom, living room, kitchen. Yes, they're spoiled.

We have an LLBean bed and a bed from K9 Ballistics. The K9 Ballistics is soft and fuzzy and I *think* Bubba likes it more. It has however really gotten worn over the last 5 years whereas the LLBean bed has held up pretty well.

We have a bunch of dog beds but they mostly are spoiled and sleep on the couch and (human) bed. When they choose something other than those two, it seems to be the big round costco bed more than anything else.

Orvis probably makes the very best dog beds! They are durable and last forever, however, they are pricey, if you have an Orvis Outlet in your area, you'll find some good prices on them.

I have an Orvis memory foam dog bed that I bought for my previous lab, Sprocket. She had had two knee surgeries and had arthritis, so I spoiled her. Diggity uses it now, but not sure he appreciates it as much as she did! Still, it is the best dog bed in the house (and I have had many as well.) Very high quality.
