Do you go to Costco? I get their fish oil.
I think it's fine to give puppies fish oil and the omegas if fine for an adult, should be fine for a puppy.
My breeder recommended that I feed my puppy a supplement of glucosamine, chondroitin, and MSM for the first year. And also a fish oil supplement for life. I like Springtime products, but their only product that has fish oil has Omega 3, 6, and 9. Is that okay to feed to a puppy? I know Omega 3 is good, but what about the 6 and 9?
This is the product Springtime has:
Omega 3-6-9 Oil for Dogs | Natural Fish Oil Supplement | Springtime, Inc.

Yes and interestingly that is where the breeder gets hers. But she just said fish oil and I noticed there are ones with omega 3 (fish oil), omega 6, and omega 9. From some of the reading I’ve been doing, it seems there are schools of thought about the benefits of s blend of all the omegas. Just wondering if anyone here knows more?

I think the only thing that you need to pay attention to is a decent amount of EPA and DHA.
What I found online is: A general guideline is to give dogs 300 mg of EPA/DHA combined per 30 pounds of body weight. Remember, however, the EPA/DHA are the important parts, and 300 mg of fish oil doesn't equal 300 mg of EPA/DHA.
Which just goes to show, I should be doubling the amount of fish oil I am giving my guys! LOL

I ended up with this product:
Omega 3-6-9 Oil for Dogs | Natural Fish Oil Supplement | Springtime, Inc.
I like this company and have been happy with them.
Diggity only gets one pill every other day for now.
