I like raw bones. I'll feed the leg bones, but only like them to chew off the outside stuff or lick the marrow. I'll take it away before they start chewing the bone. I feel raw knuckle bones without any issues. The local wholesale meat place will cut them in half for free as they are huge. I also feed turkey necks. My puppy started raw at 4 or 5 weeks old. But, they also receive kibble. I feed two kibble meals and one raw meal and then supplement with baby puppy raw bones, but he also gets bully sticks right now. The raw he gets is prepared and I switch proteins with each package. For hard chewers I find that the knuckle bones work really great. I've yet to have any tooth issues and I've fed these bones to all of my dogs and only get dentals when they are knocked out for something else.
