Talking Sonic is 10 months old!

And he's a good boy Started training classes with him - he's learning pretty fast. Very, very food motivated. He also has some Cookie craziness, although a much stronger pray drive than Cookie had.

He weighs 66 pounds. Breeder says he's thin, trainer says he's fat (but he has Belgian Malinois dogs so that's expected, lol), but vet says he's fine and I also think he's fine so that's what counts.

He's such a handsome boy! Breeders do seem to like more meat on their dogs' bones and people with dogs who are supposed to have a tuck up in front of their hind legs think labs look fat, for lack of the tuck. He looks pretty perfect to me!

It is not the least reason why we should honor as well as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born. What would the world be like without music or rivers or the green and tender grass? What would this world be like without dogs?”

I think he looks good. Still immature as far as his body and head, he's got a lot of filling in to do! Overall he has a nice outline!

Some pictures from this morning's hike on a nearby mountain - and Sonic's first peak! Well, it's barely a mountain (it's only 511 meters above sea level) and the path is paved but we enjoyed it nonetheless.

    Enjoy!

I think he looks wonderful. there are many dog breeds that are super skinny, they just are. Labs are not like that and many that do not know labs think they are fat. Sonic looks fit as a fiddle. He is going to Gain and fill out more. He has another year of growth at least a or another year to become more shall we say manly. His head and chest will get bigger.

Some photos from last week's swim in a lake, Sonic had a blast! He's so happy around water. I know most Labs love water but this little guy is smitten.
