Jeff my heart goes out to you for the loss of your beloved Hemi. I wish there was something I could say or do to make it all better, but I know there is nothing. You can take some comfort in knowing you gave Hemi a life that every dog should have. I do know that no matter what, Hemi will always have a place in your heart.

Jeff, my heart is breaking for you. There are so many precious memories that, through your posts, we all got to enjoy. I often envied Hemi's trips to Dog Camp, it sounded so wonderful, so fulfilling. I remember you telling about buying Hemi a new trailer so he would be more comfortable at Dog Camp. And, Hemi's paintings amazed me. I am a proud owner of one of those paintings, it hangs right here over my desk. In a way it was like he was here with me too. Words are so inadequate to express the sorrow for his passing. A very weird thing happened to me today. I had to have an MRI, tucked into the "tube", headphones on, playing soothing, almost magical music. Immediately I was in a beautiful field, bright with spring colors, and they all started to appear. All our precious furkids and while I never met him in person, Hemi was there. Tears flowed down my cheeks while all romped, zoomed, played. All were healthy, whole, and happy. How, why did that happen today? I believe Hemi wanted to let you know he is OK and will be waiting for you.

I always write "Rest In Peace ....." and never put a period at the end. Hemi will be resting, saving his energy to be with you, to paint again, to earn another badge.

My sincerest condolences. May his short lifetime of memories he so lovingly gave you ease your grief.

    Rest In Peace Hemi

Thank you how of all times, I just sat down to check I seen woody's Message and then looked away was sad about Hemi, and then looked back and your message appeared. Thank you. Hemi may have channeled though you. He knew of all your pups, yeah I know they weren't pups but seniors, but they are all pups. Hemi was my little boy, even though he was 95lbs

Jeff, what can I say that hasn’t already been said about you and Hemi. The two of you were a fantastic team and I can only hope to be a fraction of a doggie dad to Bo as you were to Hemi.
We’re all here for you of you need us for anything!
