    Ursa, March 10, 2011 - December 28. 2025

Ursa, "Teranjo's Bear with me" died today at a Vet hospital. Ursa died on the same date as Bailey, our chocolate Lab, who died 23 years ago.

We held Ursa with love and tears and sent her to Heaven with ample love to see Opal again and meet all our past beautiful Labs/dogs who went before her.

We are so thankfully for having had Ursa as a big part of our lives. Ursa was always a happy, easy-going girl and we miss and will miss her as our lives go on without her.

We are also thankful that Loua is here with us to ease our broken hearts and we're here to help her through her grieving as well.

Rest easy sweet, beautiful Ursa-girl XOXOXO................

Thanks for your sympathy words with Ursa's passing. We appreciate all your empathies.

Even though Ursa was struggling with more advanced kidney disease, what took her life was Hemangiosarcoma of her spleen. Yes, we've now lost 5 beautiful girls to this horrible, HORRIBLE cancer. In fact, the full blood panel they did at the ER hospital, showed a little improvement in her creatinine, but a small increase in her UREA. She was anemic, but she was also bleeding out into her abdomen - as the quick ultrasound showed, and before her spleen would rupture and give her incredible pain (we've been through that before a few times), we gently held her and sent her to heaven. My head is still spinning with so many questions.

Thanks again, we love you and your Labs. Please hug your Labs from us. Now I'm going to hug Loua again, because she's a sad girl, missing her big sister Ursa..
