    Kent Wa

    Gray muzzles always get me.

Rigby landed at the shelter this month as an owner surrender. He is a 9 year old male black lab. Rigby is a big boy who weighs 83.5 pounds.

His former owner reported Rigby gets along with everyone he meets and is a very happy dog! He's food motivated, crate trained and has been an indoor dog for most of his life (and it should stay that way!). He does pull on leash but has no other training challenges. He is microchipped, up to date on vaccines, neutered and such a good boy who is hoping to leave the shelter to join his new family soon!

Rigby is posted for Regional Animal Care Services located in Kent, WA. His shelter ID number is: A689140. For more information about Rigby and adopting him, please check out the shelter website here:

This is not an Old Haven dog. We urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.

How could anyone ever surrender a dog they've had for 9 years? There isn't anything I wouldn't sacrifice to keep my dogs.

I don't understand. 9 years of their lives. Just tossed.
