Hello Santa,

We just wanted to let you know that we have not been home since Friday and your box had not arrived yet. We had to come to visit our grandsisters for a birthday and Christmas. Guess what? Today I, Lark, turned 7 years old! My birthday is on Christmas Day! My grandsister, who is human, just turned 2 so I am older than she is!

Our mailman is also our neighbor, he watches out for boxes that come when he knows we're away. We will let you know when we get home in case you were wondering why you had not heard from us yet.

Oh no, I am so sorry Henry and Lark! I was really hoping that you would get your presents before Christmas! In all honesty, the sleigh has a long way to go, and the raindeer had decided to go on strike, can you imagine that?! Anyway, now that the raindeer had got their carrots, or whatever it is that they eat, I am hoping that the sleigh is close, real close! Have a great Christmas and New Year, pups! I hope I will hear from you soon!

Dear Santa,

Never fear! The package could well have arrived before Christmas, we just had to get an early start on holiday visiting because of our grandsister's birthday. (We made up that term, grandsister. She's our human sister's baby.) We just wanted you to know why we hadn't thanked you yet but we are happy to thank you in advance, too!

Dear No-So-Secret Santa! (Elena and Cookie!)

Whoopeeee! We got back home Thursday night and our package was waiting safely on the front porch for us! I don't know if you know what "porch pirates" are but in the U.S., many people have lost packages and mail to people who go around and steal things from porches or mailboxes. This happens especially around the holidays when fun presents are delivered and people send gift cards as holiday presents. We are very lucky that it is not a problem in our neighborhood. We are also lucky that our mail person lives across the street from us!Anyway, we love all our presents, especially the yummy treats! They both started to try to open the box but Henry soon grabbed it and tried to run off with it!

Henry dumped out the contents of the box but Lark suspected there was more to be found:

I'm having some trouble posting photos but the pups were so, so excited with their new toys and all the yummy looking treats! So far they've only tried one type, the Loops that look like little slices of sausage. Lark wanted to chew right through the bag to get to them! Henry is so happy to have some more balls to play with and that color will show up nicely in our back yard! In addition to their treats, I managed to get the little chocolate ornaments out before they did- Yay! To finish the process, they shredded the box to make certain they didn't miss anything AND because boxes make great toys, too!

Thank you so much for these wonderful treats, it was a great start to the new year! Looking forward to seeing more happy times from you and Cookie in 2020! Best wishes from all of us!

Yay! I am so happy the package finally arrived, sorry for the delay. The post officers were on strike and I just couldn't send the package. But it was fun shopping for you guys! I felt really bad you couldn't have plush toys, because there were so many nice ones, and this is the reason you got so many different types of treats - I just ran out of ideas for presents, LOL. I hope you like them and I am glad you didn't manage to eat your mom's chocolate ornaments, phew! I was so bummed because of the postal service that I forgot to send a card with instructions which presents were NOT for you :P
