Santa calling for Henry and Lark!

    Ho ho ho!

Henry and Lark, it's your Secret Santa! Have you been good pups this year? I hear you've been destroying some plush animals! Is it true?

    Best,

    S.S.

    Hi Secret Santa!

    Attachment 8894

    Lark: It was Henry!

Henry: What does a toy need with a tail? Besides, Mom doesn't really let me tear off much before hiding them. Aside from that, I've been fabulous.

Lark: And I have been magnificent!

Thank you for your inquiry! We look forward to hearing from you again soon!

    Respectfully yours,
    Lark and Henry

Okay Henry and Lark! I'll turn a blind eye on the potentially dead plush toys, if you promise me you'll be good pups in the following year!

Is there something you'd like me to leave under your Christmas tree? I'll tell my Elves to go get it for you!

    Ho ho ho!

    Greetings Kind Santa,

This is Henry. Mom said we had to confess that we have not been as fabulous and magnificent as we said. She let us inspect the pile of dead plushies yesterday and we realized that Lamb Chop was not adequately dealt with in our previous encounters. Being a tender sort, it did not take us long to completely remove all her stuffings and Mom said we will never see her again. She said it only confirmed her fears about plushies in this household, they will be dealt with unkindly so they should not visit us. Lamb Chop did not even look like a squirrel and yet she met the fate I would give to a squirrel if I could catch one. Mom reminded us that you are now keeping an eye on us so we will try to do better, now that Lamb Chop is gone.

Anyway, we like swimming and getting things out of the water so toys that float are really fun. I will chase balls and bring them back to Mom but Larky won't, she will only bring back things from the water. We both like to chew on things. We like to take toys and shove them in each other's faces and try to take them away from each other. Sometimes we chew on the same toy together.

Larky likes to eat, she finishes her food before I even take the first bite. My food is OK and I will eat it if there's nothing better around. Lark will eat anything. I do like treats, though, and it's fun to get them out of treat toys. We like to prove to those toys that we will stop at nothing to get the treats. Mommy also taught us that if she blows the whistle 3 times and we run to her we will get treats. Those treats are the yummiest. Yummy treats are yummy!

I am glad you have elves to help with your work. Offer them our greetings as well.

    With kindest regards,
    Henry and Lark

Hi Henry! Since you have confessed I decided to tell my Elves that you were both very good pups and that they should start their search for your presents immediately! I believe my sleigh will be packed and ready for the long journey to your house and that the presents will be there just in time for Christmas!

So, can you guess who I am? I also have a dog the same breed as you two. I'll just say that it's of a different color.

Lark may also help you with the guess!

    Until next time,

    Ho ho ho!

Hey Henry and Lark, what are you up to, guys?

I want to let you know that the sleigh is on its way! And there is a little something for your mom too!

Let me know when the package falls down your chimney!

Have a great Christmas, ho ho ho!

    Hello Santa,

We are trying very hard to be good puppies. This week and last week were particularly hard because our Mom, who usually doesn't work every day had to work every day. And between week one and week two, she said she caught a bug from those kids she works with because she did not want to play AT. ALL. I don't know why kids were trying to give her a bug. If someone tried to give Larky and me a bug, we would eat it!

Larky likes to sleep near the fireplace so I know we will see any package that comes down our chimney right away! How exciting for something to come into our house a new way!

    Thank you, kind Santa.

    Respectfully,
    Henry and Lark

Thank you, I am! I wasn't sure if it was food poisoning or a virus until the person who usually works that school got the same thing. Thanks, Little Gremlins!
