Helloooo there, Lucy and Fitzi!
Santa has assigned us to be your elves this year and we have begun the hunt to find you the perfect surprises! Think of us as personal shoppers. Have you been having to stay far, far away from people like we have? Even here in Santa's workshop we have separated our workbenches and have to wear the silliest gear! <---6feet--->
So tell us something about yourselves that you think Santa might not have already seen this year. Have you been well-behaved? Are you keeping your humans properly exercised? Are there any particular surprises you would like to see Santa drop down your chimney or leave on your front porch this year? Our tools and molds and ovens are ready for action!
We will write again soon! In the meantime, masks on and wipe your paws frequently!

Fitzi here, I’ve been a very good dog. Well, okay, except for the time I chewed up Lucy’s hockey ball and then the next time I chewed one up and the time after that. Okay, I’ve chewed up a lot of her hockey balls. I am a power chewer, so a really robust chew toy would be great. Any treat would be my favourite treat.
Now it’s my turn (Lucy). I’ve been a paragon of virtue this year. Don’t believe Mom when she says sometimes I can be a Lucy-fur. I didn’t really mean to eat that loaf of bread cooling on the counter, or those tortillas in the package that were sitting out. Come to think, of it those corn chips were really good to, especially with the cream cheese . Mom and Dad really don’t feed me enough. I really like a good game of fetch, so any throw toy would be appreciated. Treats, I’ll take anything and everything.

Fitzi, Thinking of all those yummy treats.
Hello again, Lucy and Fitzi,
We think you should observe a BOLO for Santa's sleigh, headed in your direction. You should not look for a star in the east, north or west because the sleigh will not be coming from those directions unless Santa really takes the scenic route!
Santa decided to look on a map to find your city and was very surprised to see that you are much further south than we imagined. Why, you practically live in Michigan! Santa says we hope Customs will also agree that you almost live in Michigan so his sleigh will just slide on through with your package with no delay!
We have been very good elves and good helpers for Santa. So good, in fact, that we try not to let Santa out of our sight, day or night. We also offered to try out your treats, just to make certain they were really tasty, but Santa told us to mind our manners. Santa said there is a box within your box with treats for your Mom and Dad, so don't rip into the red box with the gold ribbon. We put your names on your surprises but if you rip open each other's surprises, Santa says you'll probably figure out who gets what pretty easily.
So, Be On the LookOut for your box. Don't scare Santa away!
From, Your Elves!
Don’t worry, Fitzi and I will let Mom and Dad know when Santa arrives. We will bark up a storm to alert them.
Hi ho, Lucy and Fitzi!
Santa checked on your package's progress and we are sad to say that things are progressing very slowly on the package delivery front. We sent the package promptly on December 5 but tracking can't tell us where it is, just that it's still on its way. We have sent other packages in the meantime that did not need to come as far as Canada and they have not been delivered either! Santa does not have the virus but maybe some of Santa's helpers who are supposed to be helping with this endeavor are not feeling well.
We are getting some snow today, it just started about 10 minutes ago! We haven't had a snow storm in a few years. Santa has an appointment in about 90 minutes from now. While not wanting to be known as a "weather weenie", Santa does wish the snow had waited to start just a wee bit later. These reindeer prefer flying through clear skies. We elves, however, will be happy to go outside and roll around in the snow, once it starts sticking to the ground!
We will keep checking to see where your package is and hope it arrives in time for Christmas!

It’s trying times, even for Santa and his elves. Don’t worry, we are very patient and looking forward to our package, no matter when it arrives.
Elves everywhere are having a very hard time this year with navigating all of these new rules. Lucy and Fitzi are very thankful that y'all elves made the time and effort to make this Christmas so special!

Dear Lucy and Fitzi,
We are sad to report that our tracking has not shown any progress of your package in the past week. We sent it on its way on December 4 (not the 5th) and Santa never expected it to take this long. Santa's helpers at the post office have not been very helpful or informative this year. None of the packages Santa sent through the post office have arrived at their destinations. Maybe we can be your secret Valentines?
We hope you have a wonderful Christmas and that one day your package will arrive. We think you will still like it.
Your friends, Elf 1 and Elf 2
I’m sure we will be delighted to get our package and if it arrives for Valentines we will be just as excited. This year has been very trying for everyone. Maybe 2021 will be better?
