    Deep South snow!

This week we had a record breaking snow fall down here in South Alabama. The beaches even had snow! Needless to say this is highly unusual and is causing traffic nightmares for drivers mainly because no one has any snow removing tools for the highway.
Here’s a few shots of snow around the house.

I saw it also snowed in Florida. Crazy.

But I guess the dogs loved it! That's a substantial amount of snow you got.

I would say you have about the same amount of snow on the ground that we have in South West Ontario.

Hah, pretty cool. Hopefully Bo enjoyed it. Being in Michigan we get snow but this is Cliffs first snow. He is still loving every minute of it. It got super cold here, I never thought I would be glad to see it hit 20 degrees F. You have about the same about of snow we have. Which we have snow truck, below 20 degrees even salt will not melt ice. It was pretty miserable up here for a few days.

Berna, we got (here) around 9-10” of snow. Pensacola got about 11-12” of show.
It broke a record from 1881 buy at least 5”.

Jeff, yes Bo was having the time of his life. It’s all gone here except for the shaded areas.
This was a once in a life time event for us here on the gulf coast. Even the beaches were covered with snow! One of the weatherman said he never thought he would be saying this but he called it Gulf effect snow. Lol
Hopefully this doesn’t set a precedence for other crazy weather throughout the year especially hurricanes.

Bet the dogs were thrilled. In a snowbelt here in S. Ontario, surrounded by ski resorts. We wonder if friends who go south for a time at least have All Weather tires on their cars, if not dedicated snow tires, so at least can handle the driving. Enjoy the snow while you can.

Wow, that's crazy! But at least dogs and children are thrilled.
